A briefing on my outlook for life and what lies beyond. Typically, I could give a lot of these to you in the statistics page, but it's a bit more complex than that.
Politics:
For many people, this is the side of me that will cause you to love me or hate me. Not quite fitting into either "republican" or "democrat" categories, I've elected not to use any of these words to describe myself. A word that is a bit more accurate is "conservative". Right there many people have already dismissed me as heartless and judgemental. Consider that.. I'm judged as judgemental. Moving on. Being an apprentice, I understand the economic value of unions and joint training funds. Why conservatives are so opposed to unions is beyond me. Many unions are corrupt, but that's not the nature of unions, that's the nature of business. A correctly run union will, if anything, benefit a business owner. With an open mind, any conservative could see why the trained and familiarized apprentice is beneficial for a company.
Issues regarding federal or state control (drugs etc.) are controversial. You see, I do agree that a solution must be provided for these issues, but is it "law" that will solve these problems? From my experience (granted I've had little) this tactic does not work. Therefore, I will support drug control no more than gun control.
Religion:
This is my second most controversial aspect. What is religion? A label, made by men. That's religion. That's the usefulness of it. However, we cannot throw the baby out with the holy water. Observe.
There is a deity. We won't refer to it by name. We will not use the pronouns him and her because there are many people shallow enough to see these terms as gender-relative. Honestly? Would deities have a need to reproduce? Give that up, it's foolish. Back on track now. You take a moment to believe this deity exists. Why would it care about you unless.. it cared about you. Love. The only thing more powerful than any deity. That deity, and you, are subject to love. So you fall in love. Yes. Fall in love with a deity. It's fun.
Did this deity create you? Does this deity send you to a heaven or hell after life? Or how about this.. does it matter? You are here, now. That's what love is. Here and now. Don't fall in love with a deity for the gain you'll have tomorrow. Don't worry where you came from. It's about the deity that loves you.
Many refute the idea of a deity of any sort based on the fact that they have no evidence. Well, many women want to be loved for their heart, not their faces. Why? Consider the answer to that, and see why a deity would ask you to love it for the heart it owns, rather than the miracles it can perform. There you have it.
So, to sum it up. I'm in love with a deity, yes. This deity asks me to read many things for guidance, and usually it is the Bible. Is the Bible flawless? I don't care, I only read what my love tells me too. If what I read is true, I have what I'm after. Do I call this deity God? Yeah, he doesn't mind. Usually I call him "Love" instead. This is all the documentation I will give of my love for God, as it becomes overwhelming and embittering when pursued in a rash manner. Once knowing this, I only show people my own love for them. When they want more, they know where I get it from.
Romance:
Relationships, I have to touch on that. But I will only touch on it. I am a single guy and have grown to like it this way. Creative types clash with relationships often. It's a quandry, however, because creative people tend to be the most romantic and inspiring. Why then is it hard for us to hold relationships? Because we need time to ourselves, time to be introverted.
I've learned to love living alone and by myself, always engaged in a new project such as a website, novel, or graphic design. To establish a successful relationship, I will more than likely need to find a woman that loves herself enough that she can engage in her own projects (perhaps not so creative. sports etc.) so that I may do my own without her worrying. She almost must be confident.
A common problem in most relationships I've had were jealous girls. Girls jealous of nonexistent competition for my attention. When I devote myself to someone, I'm devoted. Other women fade. A confident woman will find security in that, and not fear that I will keep secrets.Everyone needs a "significant other". That's the mindset. In order to have successful relationships, forget this mindset. Move on, live as yourself and learn to live wisely as you alone. When you discover yourself, you are ready to discover somebody else.
Colleges and Universities:
Consistently viewed as "the next step after receiving your diploma". Or perhaps better seen as "the next episode of the soap opera that is your life." Too many people (especially in the U.S.) do not consider other options well enough. How often does a college graduate get a job that is relative to the degree the graduate earned? You'd be very surprised. These institutions, more often than not, have one goal. Profit. They don't care about educating you or preparing you for the world out there. No, they simply want you to pay for more tuition than is necessary (General Education, as they so nicely put it). They charge you for a pass to park your car on the premises. Yet they don't charge visitors. And those passes aren't exactly affordable.
And, for those of you with old-fashioned parents, they drill it into your head that everything they told you was wrong or shallow. What is it about a degree that guarantees productivity and intelligence? Well, I can tell you this. I know many people with degrees in graphic design and art.. and have made no profit from this education. Even after a handful of years. Yet I took one class before realizing how corrupt these institutions are and left. Yet somehow, I still profit off of this knowledge that I have for the arts and layout. How is this? Simple, I already knew this stuff. You can skip college quite often, unless you aim to be a doctor, lawyer, or other more prestigious professions. If you're a college student, really, do me a favor. Consider it. Are you throwing your money away? Your time? Check into starting business, market yourself before you even graduate. You might be surprised (unless living in the big city. Here the situation is a bit different.)
